Hace mucho tiempo en una galaxia muy lejana

En 1968 Francis Ford Coppola envió el corto de George Lucas THX-1138, junto con el guión que había preparado para largometraje de la misma historia, a Herb Jaffe de United Artists. Jaffe lo mandó a análisis y revisión en el estudio y esto es parte de lo que le contestaron:
It´s quite easy to see that George Lucas is a talented man with a most extraordinary imagination and talent. I am sure he has a rewarding and successful career in front of him.

However.

The is one main fault in his script and it also happens to be the main fault of the film he put together... And that is that he broke the number one Rule of Thumb in crating Anything. To wit... his works are both, eventually, deathly boring.
