"Speed" helmer Jan de Bont is to reprise Kathryn Bigelow's iconic surfer movie "Point Break Indo." Original scripter W. Peter Iliff has penned the screenplay for the new movie, which takes place in Singapore and Indonesia 20 years after the disappearance of Patrick Swayze character Bodhi.¡Bodhi no se murió! Werner Herzog and David Lynch are teaming for "My Son, My Son," a horror-tinged murder drama based on a true story. Herzog and his longtime assistant director Herbert Golder co-wrote "Son," loosely based on the true story of a San Diego man who acts out a Sophocles play in his mind and kills his mother with a sword. The low-budget feature will flash back and forth from the murder scene to the disturbed man's story. Cronocrimenes!!! Seria de lujo que Cronenberg la adaptara, ya es hora de que regrese a sus raices de culto. Dificil que llegue a cine... de hecho en España se tardo en salir... tendra que ser en dvd.
Alguien culpaba a Hot Fuzz por haberle implatado la idea a algun productor genio de hacer un remake de Point Break... Algo curioso es que lei por ahi que un grupo teatral estaba haciendo representaciones de la pelicula. Y al principio de cada una, hacen audiciones de gente del publico para el papel de Johnny Utah... creo que veria una de esas antes que la secuela.

Y respecto a los Cronocrímenes, sí, yo estoy resignado a tener que verla en DVD, pero la esperanza es lo último que muere. ;)
