Hijo de la Chingada (yi' hou da lä shin' gad' a): Vague equivalent of the expression "son of a bitch". By calling someone a son of "la chingada" you are telling that person that his mother is a whore. Or even worse: that he doesn’t have (or ever had) a mother. The mother in mexican culture is the utmost symbol of purity and goodness, and it's absense means that someone is evil, abusive and beyond repair. Nonetheless, very close friends (or passing acquaintances that get really drunk together) can call each other "hijos de la chingada", as long as it is in good character, without fear of insult or injury.Para el resto de la lección compren El Arsenal: Unknown Enemy en su tienda de cómics favorita.
